COVID-19 Update: Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit temporary closure

Dear valued guests, business partners and colleagues,
Due to the global outbreak of the COVID-19 virus and recent escalation of the situation in Bangkok, we have taken a decision to halt operations at Carlton Hotel Bangkok Sukhumvit from 1st April 2020. The safety and well-being of our guests and associates is our highest priority and we thank you for your kind understanding and patience during this very difficult period. We will continue to closely follow the advice and requirements of the authorities in Thailand in the days and weeks to come. Please refer to our website, social media platforms or contact us directly for updates on our re-opening. We have a fantastic new Hotel and a great team ready to welcome you back in the near future. Hotel Policies:

We understand your concerns about the current situation surrounding the COVID-19 (Coronavirus Disease 2019). We are closely monitoring the situation as the wellbeing of our guests and associates is of paramount importance.

The hotel is complying with measures recommended by the Ministry of Public Health. We are also taking every necessary precaution that we can to ensure the health and safety of all our guests and employees.

These include but not limited to:
•    Conducting compulsory temperature checks for all guests, employees, tenants and vendors.

•    Hand sanitiser and thermometers are readily available for guests on request. 

•    Face masks will be issued to guests with symptoms of infection and the hotel will assist with referring guests to nearby medical facilities.

•    Increasing the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting in public areas within the hotel. Hand sanitisers are prominently placed in all public areas, F&B outlets, Front Office, Swimming Pool and Gym.

•    Guest are briefed upon check-in and advised to contact the Duty Manager if they feel unwell.

Extra steps will be taken depending on the escalation of the situation or upon advice from the Ministry of Public Health.

Cancellation policy and booking flexibility
In these uncertain times, we are providing support to our guests and our business partners. As the situation around novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, we are doing everything we can to ensure you and your guests travel safety.

Existing Reservations:  All reservations that are scheduled for arrival before 30th April 2020 may be amended at no charge up to 24 hours before scheduled arrival. The new arrival date must be confirmed within 22nd December 2020, whereas accommodation will be subject to hotel availability at time of confirmation. 

New Reservations: Any reservations booked between today and 30th April 2020, for a future arrival date, may be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 24 hours before scheduled arrival. If you have confirmed your booking with a travel agent, please contact them for further assistance.
